Leading Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) accredited service provider, Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP) is offering young lawyers a highly subsidized fee to enable them benefit from its two-day “Law Practice Management” course holding this Friday and Saturday at Lekki, Lagos.

LEDAP is accredited by the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE) to offer courses on mandatory continuing legal education (MCLE) for lawyers.

According to LEDAP, the “Law Practice Management” programme will hold on September 6 and 7, 2019 at ICLE/MCLE Training Centre, 11b Christ Avenue, off Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. With a stellar cast of faculty led by the cerebral former NBA Lagos Branch Chairman, Mr. Alex Muoka, the course will provide unique insights to participants on how to build a successful legal practice. Other faculty members are Messrs Gabriel Ibiwoye and Chidi Kechi Oduji, both senior lawyers. The facilitators will also guide participants on the nuances in sourcing and retaining clients especially in a challenged economy.

While the official course fee is N35, 000 LEDAP is offering young lawyers between one year and seven years post-call a massive 40 per cent discount to enable them benefit from the programme as well as build their capacity in client sourcing and law office management. Young lawyers are therefore expected to pay only N21,000 (Twenty-one thousand naira) to attend the two-day programme.

Aside from full NBA-CLE credits which will be awarded to all participants in meeting their mandatory NBA CLE requirements, certificates will also be issued to all participants. To cap the list of benefits, tea and lunch breaks will also be provided by the organisers.
