Dear Esteemed Branch Members and Friends,

With a heart overflowing with gratitude and humility, I say, THANK YOU. Thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as the next Chairman of the NBA Lagos Branch. This is not a personal victory, it is a collective affirmation of our shared hope for a Bar that is more purposeful, inclusive, responsive, and visionary.

I am deeply honoured by your confidence in me. The mandate you have given is not one I take lightly. You have not just elected a Chairman — you have given life to a vision. A vision of a Bar where every lawyer, regardless of age, gender, background, or practice area — feels seen, heard, and supported. A Bar that stands tall in dignity, bold in advocacy, and unwavering in professional excellence.

To my fellow candidates, I salute your passion, and commitment to the Bar. Our race is proof that Lagos Branch is blessed with leaders of resolve and substance. I look forward to working with you to strengthen our Branch.

To the elders and mentors who guided me, the friends who stood by me, the team that ran this campaign with heart and integrity — I say a sincere thank you. Your prayers, time, resources, and belief have brought us here.

As we gear up to begin this new chapter, I reaffirm my commitment to the priorities I shared with you — from capacity building, mentorship, welfare and judiciary reforms, to digitisation, prioritising completion of the Bar Centre and a stronger voice for NBA Lagos nationally. Together, we will build bridges across generations, genders, sectors and specialties.

Let this victory be a signal to every intermediate, young or older lawyer, every female colleague, every practitioner, whether in solo practice, small, mid-sized or large firms, in-house or government service: there is a place for you at the table.

This is our Bar and together, we will make it stronger.
