GOODWILL MESSAGE TO NBA CALABAR BRANCH, THE (DOYEN BAR) BY SABASTINE ANYIA, CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF NBA FIRST VICE PRESIDENT

It is with great excitement that Sabastine Anyia, the candidate for the office of First Vice President congratulates the Chairman and good people of NBA, CALABAR BRANCH, for their well thought out Law Week. I also welcome Distinguished Senior Advocates, Benchers, elders at the Bar, learned friends and colleagues to the beautiful city of Calabar, the people’s paradise for this year’s Law Week.

NBA CALABAR BRANCH is known for her astuteness and discipline. A no-nonsense branch, a stickler to the rules. NBA CALABAR Branch is a good example to other branches. We are proud of what you have accomplished as a branch. You are truly a doyen in our association. Keep the fire burning.

I’m extremely excited that the organizing committee of the branch Law Week took our peculiarities into consideration in planning this year’s Law Week, as can be seen in the theme of the Law Week: “ACCESS TO JUSTICE WITHIN THE NIGERIAN FISCAL SPACE.” This well organized Law Week program and the invited legal Giants who are lined up to deliver talks herein speak volumes of NBA, CALABAR BRANCH.

I’m convinced that the gathering of these legal GIANTS at this Law Week shall guide us and give us the direction to pilot the affairs of this great country in a manner that will make us truly the giant of Africa.

I wish us all safe travels as we journey to attend NBA CALABAR Branch Law Week even as I wish all delegates a rewarding outing.
