The Prisoners Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA) has partnered with the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria (LACON) and Clifford University to offer Paralegal Studies.
The partnership was cemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the partner organisations.
The delegation of PRAWA/LACON and International IDEA learnt during the signing ceremony that Clifford University is part of a network of 118 universities globally established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Speaking on the groundbreaking event, the President of PRAWA, Assoc. Prof. Uju Agomoh said: “We look forward to the prospect of replication of this project across some of these 118 universities including those in 22 countries in Central and West Africa following the piloting in the Clifford University.
“Congratulations to Clifford University and congratulations to all of us for a very successful event today. I thank God for such a resounding success.”
The Seventh-day Adventist Church operates one of the largest Christian education systems globally, with universities, colleges, seminaries, and tertiary institutions spread across every inhabited continent.
