Bar Leader and immediate past Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Port Harcourt Branch, Cordelia Uwuma Eke has hailed the emergence of Dr. Chinedu Maduba as the new chairman of the branch.

In a statement made available to CITY LAWYER, Eke, who is also the pioneer female chairman of the branch, described Maduba’s victory as “hard-earned in a free, fair, and keenly contested election.”

Continuing, she noted that “It is a clear endorsement of your capacity, vision, and commitment to the ideals of our noble Branch.”

Turning to other elected officers, the Bar Leader wrote: “I pray that God grants you all wisdom, grace, unity, and resilience to pilot the affairs of our dear Branch in accordance with the ideals, traditions, and tenets of our noble profession.”

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO DR. CHINEDU SAMUEL MADUBA AND THE NEWLY ELECTED EXCO OF NBA PORT HARCOURT BRANCH

It is with great joy and pride that I congratulate Dr. Chinedu Samuel Maduba on his election and swearing-in as the Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch, on Wednesday, 5th August 2026.

Your victory was hard-earned in a free, fair, and keenly contested election. It is a clear endorsement of your capacity, vision, and commitment to the ideals of our noble Branch.
