The Chair of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), Prof. Uju Agomoh, is one of the lead mourners as her mother-in-law, Late Senior Mother Eziaku Nwakpa Agomoh is interred tomorrow in Amaukwu, Uzzi-Ossah, Ossah-Ibeku in Umuahia, Abia State.
According to obsequies seen by CITY LAWYER and signed by Dr. Ahamafule Onyeakagbulem Agomoh, the three-day burial rites commenced on Thursday, 6th August, 2026.
The day began with a Medical Outreach in honour of the deceased matriarch at Orie Oji Square, Uzzi-Ossah, Ossah-Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State. Later that same day, a Service of Songs was held at Ogwumabiri Primary School, Uzzi-Ossah, Ossah-Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State.
Her remains will leave the City Gate Mortuary, Umuahia at 7:00 am tomorrow, followed by a Lying-in-State at her husband, Late Eze Agomoh’s family compound, Amaukwu, Uzzi-Ossah, Ossah-Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

The Funeral Service will commence at 10:00 am at Ogwumabiri Primary School, Uzzi-Ossah, Ossah-Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State. Reception of guests will hold at the same venue, preceded by a private interment at 12:00 noon at the family compound. The colours of the day are white and gold.
The funeral activities will be rounded off with Thanksgiving and Outing Service on Sunday, 9th August, 2026 at 10:00 am.
Late Senior Mother Eziaku Nwakpa Agomoh passed away as a nonagenarian. Her life has been described as “a life of grace, love, and godly devotion.”
