A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES: THE IKENGA STORY…

From Eha-alumona Nsukka, to an ice-water seller on the streets of Onitsha, to a brilliant winner of the Nsukka Catholic Diocese JDPC Scholarship in 1998/99; then to the streets of Abuja in pursuit of a Law Degree and other dreams.
A dream-chaser who had no one or knew no one in Abuja!

Starting life in Abuja 20years ago wasn’t easy.
Skills and Education [Academic and Business] were surest routes to the Dreamed-life.

Accommodation was the biggest challenge and that’s why we vowed to God that we shall give free Accommodation to youths till the last day; if he would help us.
He has indeed helped us and that birthed Hope-House since 2008.

From a taxi driver in Abuja in 2005, to a Solar Technician, to cooking in and running one of the best Restaurants in Uniabuja, to a Law Student in Uniabuja, to a Lawyer, a Real Estate Developer, a husband, a father, a Chief among his lovely people, a political leader, and a Director in Boards of many companies and organisations.
This can only be God!!

At 40years of age and as we reflect in the journey so far, it is a celebration of Excellence, Resilience, Innovation and God’s Grace!

In these 40 interesting years, the Lord God Almighty has shown up and stamped His presence with numerous unbelievable evidences.

Big thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey.
May God, who used you to make the man now being celebrated, reward you in million folds for all the Love, the kindness and help!

The celebration started with a Family Dinner at Puzzo’s restaurant. Wuse 2 Abuja.
