A newly called Lawyer, Dare Isaac, has been kidnapped while on his way to his home town in Ekiti State.
Hé was returning home from his Call to Bar ceremony.

The abduction took place around Lokoja, Kogi State, on Friday, November 28, 2025, just three days after Dare Isaac was called to the bar in Abuja on 25th November, 2025.

According to our investigation, the newly called lawyer was taken by armed captors who are now demanding a ransom for his release.

We therefore call on NBA to look into this case.

This case is just one of the many mass kidnappings in Nigeria which has severely underscored the nation’s widespread and deepening insecurity crisis. A wave of violence in late November 2025 alone saw hundreds of individuals — including students, worshippers, and a traditional ruler — abducted across multiple states, demonstrating the operational reach and boldness of criminal gangs and the government’s struggle to contain them.
