On 25th March 2026, the Ministry of Justice, Abia State, received a delegation from the Male Feminists Network (MFN), led by the Executive Director, Dr. Kelechukwu Okezie.

The team paid an advocacy visit to formally introduce the Male Feminists Project in Abia State, seek strategic partnership, and request institutional endorsement from the Ministry.

I was pleased to receive the delegation alongside the Director of Public Prosecutions, Bar. Uwaeme Oluchi, and our Gender-Based Violence Desk Officer.

The Ministry of Justice remains firmly committed to strengthening prosecutions, upholding the rule of law, and supporting every credible effort to end gender-based violence in our state. The work of the Male Feminists Project aligns with these values, and it was on this basis that we extended our official endorsement.

We look forward to a productive partnership that advances justice, protects the vulnerable, and promotes gender equity across Abia State.
