NBA President Leads Walkathon as Lawyers Set to Take Over the Garden City

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) wishes to invite all delegates, colleagues and participants at the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference to join the NBA President for the NBA Walkathon.

The Annual General Conference is not only a time for robust conversations, professional development and networking; it is also anu opportunity for members of the Bar to connect, promote wellness and enjoy moments of camaraderie. The Walkathon provides a unique opportunity for us to step away from the conference rooms, recharge and experience the beauty of the Garden City together.

We therefore urge all colleagues to come out in large numbers and Walk with the President as we make this more than just a morning exercise, but a movement that celebrates unity, wellness and the spirit of the Nigerian Bar.

NBA Announces Transportation Arrangements for 2026 Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA is pleased to inform conferees attending the 2026 NBA Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt that transportation arrangements have been put in place to ensure the convenient movement of participants from designated arrival points to their respective hotels within the city.

In collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC), buses will be stationed at the Port Harcourt International Airport from Saturday, 22 August 2026, to Monday, 24 August 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., to convey arriving conferees to their various hotels.

Transportation will also be available at major bus terminals within Port Harcourt for conferees arriving through designated transport companies. Buses will be stationed at the GIG Bus Terminal, Libra Motors Park, Agofure Park, Rivers Joy Park, GUO Bus Terminal and Chisco Park to convey conferees to their respective hotels.

We urge all conferees to take advantage of these transportation arrangements for a smooth and convenient arrival experience as we gather in the Garden City for another memorable Annual General Conference.

Chief Judge of Rivers State to Host NBA–AGC 2026 Welcome Cocktail

Dear colleagues,

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA is pleased to invite delegates, distinguished members of the Bar, guests and friends of the legal profession to the official NBA–AGC 2026 Welcome Cocktail, to be hosted by the Chief Judge of Rivers State.
