A Call to Action: Chief Gadzama, SAN, Challenges Stakeholders at Security Summit
The International Peace, Security Summit and Awards was held on the 31st day of March 2026. It concluded with a resounding call to move beyond rhetoric and commit to actionable outcomes. Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN, in his capacity as Chairman, challenged every participant to leave the venue with at least one concrete commitment toward strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
Gadzama emphasized that the insights generated during the summit must translate into policies, programs, and partnerships that outlast the event itself.

Whether through strengthening neighborhood watches, mentoring young people in security fields, or advocating for legislative reforms, he stressed that every citizen has a role to play. “Security is indeed everybody’s business,” he reminded the audience, echoing the motto of the Searchlight Initiative.
The Chairman’s charge, delivered on his behalf by Mr. Jerry Ombugadu Musa of J-K Gadzama LLP, served as a fitting conclusion to a day of intense deliberation. Focusing on practical steps and community-level engagement, Chief Gadzama’s remark ensured that the summit’s impact would be felt long after the final gavel, inspiring a collective movement toward a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.
