He has contributed greatly to the advancement of human rights and jurisprudence in Nigeria. His writings and advocacy for good governance and insistence that government officials work for the benefit of the ordinary Nigerian is now well known.
From one national television station to another, from one radio station to another and from one newspaper writing to another, he speaks with passion, focus, and commitment. He is articulate and has the ability to cut through matters and get answers to complex issues.
Ubani has been at the forefront of advocating that Nigerian courts must render substantial justice to litigants. He believes that justise, equity, and fairness should not be sacrificed on the alter of legal technicalities.
Alongside other aides, he continues to add value to the senate president, Godswill Akpabio, and the senate itself. This he does intelligently and in an exceptional manner.

Ubani, despite his national engagements, is a ”home boy”. In his Ikwuano Umuahia home town of Abia state, he continues to pursue worthy causes for the benefit of his people. One can easily recall his strident views on some bad roads in that area until it was addressed. He is inddeed an advocate for the public good.
I wish him God’s guidance, protection, and blessings in the years ahead.
