Bar Leader and Co-Opted Executive Committee member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch, Mrs. Uchenna Ogunedo Akingbade was the cynosure of all eyes yesterday as she anchored the flagship session at the ongoing NBA Lagos Branch Annual Law Conference.

The session, with the topic “Redefining Standards in a Disruptive Legal Landscape,” featured the Keynote Address, the 1st Panel Session, and the 2nd Panel Session.

The sessions spoke to the overarching theme of the conference – “Reimagining the practice of law: Ethics, Innovation, and The Future of Legal Services.”

Akingbade is attending the Law Conference as the coordinator of the Flagship Session, having served on the Law Week Planning Committee for three consecutive years.

She said that “it is a privilege to coordinate this integral session. The session brings together some of the finest minds in the legal profession, including:

Mrs. Funke Adekoya, SAN
Hon. Justice Isaac Essien
Mr. Dapo Otunla

In a pre-session statement, the Bar Leader stated that “I am truly looking forward to the dialogue, the energy, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the conversations shaping the future of our Bar.”
