Fiery human rights activist, Mr. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN) has been named as the “sole speaker” at this year’s PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE.
Adegboruwa will speak on the topic, “Leveraging Nigeria’s young population for national growth and development.”
According to a statement seen by CITY LAWYER, the Annual Lecture, the 12th in the series, “has proved to be a veritable instrument for propagating the gospel and a platform for generating ideas aimed at addressing issues of national and international interest.”
It added that “From the feedback we have received thus far, each of the past lectures had been a tremendous blessing to teeming multitudes within and outside Nigeria.”
Signed by the PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIRTHDAY LECTURE PLANNING COMMITTEE, the statement reads: “It gives us much joy and great pleasure to humbly invite you to be the sole speaker at a special Public Lecture being organized by us to mark the 84th birthday anniversary of our esteemed father in the Lord and the General Overseer of this Mission, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
“Pastor E. A. Adeboye Public Lecture’ is an annual event specially put together to mark the birthday of the General Overseer, by the Triumphant Elders Consultative Forum, which is a group of retired senior Pastors in RCG who have served faithfully without any blemish.”
Past lectures have featured prominent Nigerians from various walks of life as speakers, including former Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Dr. Christopher Kolade, Professor Wale Tomori, Professor Michael Omolewa, Professor Jide Osuntokun, Pastor Femi Atoyebi (SAN), Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN).
The Public Lecture holds at 11 am on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Youth Centre, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Redemption City of God, KM 46 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
Adegboruwa is adjudged as one of Nigeria’s foremost human rights activists whose public interventions have especially helped to shape the trajectory of the nation’s human rights jurisprudence.
