The African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) International Inc. has announced its highly anticipated 2026 International Conference scheduled to take place in Accra, Ghana from November 18th to 22nd, 2026.

This year, the prestigious gathering will convene at the Palms by Eagle, Airport, Accra, Ghana, bringing together gender advocates, legal practitioners, policymakers, activists, and leaders from across the continent and the diaspora.

Empowering Africa’s Future Together

Operating under the main theme “BETTER TOGETHER,” the conference will focus on a critical and empowering sub-theme: “AWLA Beaming Her Light On: Create, Empower, Prosper, Together in Africa.”

The five-day event serves as a premier platform to address legal reforms, gender equity, socio-economic development, and strategic collaboration aimed at advancing the rights and prosperity of women and communities throughout Africa.
