The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Mr. Afam Osigwe (SAN) has constituted the eagerly awaited Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC).

In a statement made available to CITY LAWYER, Osigwe stated that “The LOC is to assist the Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC) to plan, organize, and execute such events and activities as may be indicated by the AGC. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that all aspects of the event, from venue construction and management to accommodation, transportation, security, and event operations, are successfully executed.

“The LOC shall liaise with AGCPC and various stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt.”

Dated July 30, 2026, the statement reads:
