Newly sworn-in Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Port Harcourt Branch Chairman, Dr. Chinedu Maduba has vowed to co-opt his opponents in the keenly contested chairmanship race to drive the success of his administration.

In a ‘Thank You’ message seen by CITY LAWYER, he revealed that he had contacted his opponents on the need to be part of his administration, adding that “they will all play various roles in the success of this administration.”

THANK YOU MESSAGE.

Dear Learned Silks, Seniors and Colleagues

With a heart overflowing with gratitude and humility, I sincerely thank every member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch, for the confidence reposed in me through your votes and overwhelming support at the just concluded Branch elections.

To every supporter, volunteer, campaign team member, and well-wisher, (you were and still are my backbone); your sacrifices, unwavering commitment, encouragement, and belief in our shared vision made this victory possible and very glorious. I do not take your trust for granted, I remain profoundly grateful.

I also extend my appreciation to all contestants for enriching our democratic process despite the challenges. Your passion and dedication to the growth of our Branch are commendable.

I have reached out to my colleagues who contested with me in this quest to serve the bar and they will all play various roles in the success of this administration. I look forward to working with all of you in the collective interest of our beloved NBA Port Harcourt Branch.

The campaigns are over, work has commenced and everyone belongs to this family. I pledge to lead with excellence, integrity, transparency, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and advancement of our Branch and it’s members.Together, we shall build an NBA Port Harcourt Branch that inspires confidence, promotes excellence, protects the interests of members, and leaves a lasting legacy for generations to come.
