The Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos will on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 hold a colloquium on social, economic and cultural rights.

With the theme as “Status of implementation of economic, social and economic rights,” the Guest Speaker is Prof. Joseph Oloka Onyago, a renowned professor of law at Makerere University, Uganda.

The event will hold at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba from 3 pm to 5 pm.

With Dr. Olusola Amusa, Ag. Head of Department of Public Law as the Convener, the Host is the Dean of Law and foremost criminal law expert, Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa. The Chief Host is the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.
