Senior lawyer and rights activist, Papa Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe has hit the ground running following his recent appointment as the Eastern Zonal Coordinator of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL).
CITY LAWYER recalls that NBA-SPIDEL Chairman, Prof. Uju Agomoh had inaugurated several committees and officers to help in promoting the twin objects of the section dealing with public interest and development.

Barely a few days after the inauguration, the NBA-SPIDEL Coordinator stormed the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) Quarterly Meeting in Owerri, the Imo State capital, with a strong delegation to canvass members to join the section.
Addressing the meeting, Enamhe noted that of the three NBA sections, only SPIDEL is concerned majorly with the public interest, human rights and rule of law. He emphasized that SPIDEL is concerned with human development and protection of the common man, his community and society at large.
He stated that SPIDEL is interested in partnering with EBF to resolve challenges facing its members.

A SPIDEL Council Member, Enamhe congratulated the newly elected branch chairmen and secretaries, urging them to set up SPIDEL Desks in their branches.
Following his call for EBF members to join SPIDEL, it is reported that more than 100 members requested to join the section.
Aside from former NBA Vice President and erstwhile SPIDEL Chairman, Dr. Monday Ubani SAN, other SPIDEL members who were a part of the delegation included SPIDEL Secretary, Mr. Onome Amatey; former NBA Assistant Secretary, Mr. Okey Ohagba, and Bar Leader Chika Okolie.

Enamhe also had a session with the intending members and guided them on the work of SPIDEL.
Speaking at the occasion, Ubani Ubani urged EBF members to always seek justice and be a voice for the voiceless iin the society.
