Fire-brand human rights lawyer, Mr. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has been appointed patron of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Okitipupa Branch. The investiture ceremony will take place during the Annual Law Week of the branch on February 1, 2019.

In a letter dated December 14, 2018 and jointly signed by Messrs Omololu Bagbe and Experience Ojubulu, the branch Chairman and Secretary respectively, the branch stated that Adegboruwa was chosen because of the “collective realization for the need to have a strong and highly resourceful backbone for the branch.

“We are therefore gratified and pleased to present our humble request that you may consider accepting the position of a patron of our branch.”

Adegboruwa hails from Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State and practices frequently in Okitipupa and other courts in the state.

It is recalled that Adegboruwa was recently appointed chairman of the Justice Sector Programme Commission of the African Bar Association (ABA).
