INTERNATIONAL WIDOWS DAY COMMITTEE CALLING!

The Widows Day Committee hereby invites you all to the IWD event on Monday, June 24th, 2024 , by 12 noon prompt.

We are happy to inform you that Her Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, has confirmed her attendance at the event💃💃

We are also expecting other distinguished personalities. The Solicitor-General of Rivers State will give the Keynote Address. Former Attorney-General and Secretary to the Rivets State Government, Dame Aleruchi Cookey-Gam will chair the event.

Note that among activities for the day will be Medical Checks for widows, a Health Talk and a training on domestic food gardening, which will be beneficial to ALL guests. There would also be a talk on the legal rights of widows.

There will also be economic empowerment of widows and gift items for them. The committee has also decided to empower some female lawyers who are widows on that day.

Medical checks for widows will hold from 10-12 noon. The main event commences at 12 noon.
