One of the presidential candidates in the forthcoming Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Election, Mr. Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN has garnered some key endorsements in the run-up to the elections.

Among the major endorsements is one by Mr. Konyin Ajayi SAN, a key Partner at the leading law firm of Olanihun Ajayi LP. The law firm is reputed as the largest law office in Nigeria and West Africa and the 10th largest law firm in Africa.

Others who have also endorsed the presidential candidate are Mr. Tunde Fagbohunlu SAN and Mr. Godson Ugochukwu SAN. Fagbohunlu is a Partner in the leading integrated law firm of Aluko and Oyebode while Ugochukwu is the Managing Partner at Fortress Solicitors, a law firm operating out of Lagos.

Opening the floodgate of key endorsements, Ajayi wrote on his verified LinkedIN channel: “Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN has my vote & needs your vote to center on the strategic priorities of (1) leveraging the Bar’s enormous youth to sky rocket the Bar to a pride of place; (2) enabling cooperation between Bar and the three arms of government to infuse the Rule of Law into Society, so as to accelerate socio-economic revival in the nation; & (3) giving us a transformed & fearless Bar.”

Ajayi is also the Chairman of the Capital Market Masterplan Implementation Committee. He has over 39 years’ experience in banking, project finance, capital markets, power, infrastructure, M&A, energy and natural resources, privatisation and dispute resolution.

Responding to Ajayi’s green light to Ikwuazom, Fagbohunlu wrote: “I will vote for Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN. I trust him to deliver on #TransformativeLeadership and #AFearlessBar”

Also weighing in on Ajayi’s post, Ugochukwu wrote: “Absolutely! Hear! Hear! A Daniel comes to judgement.”
