ETIGWE UWA BACKS CHUKWUKA IKWUAZOM FOR NBA PRESIDENT
Senior Partner at Streamsowers & Kohn, Etigwe Uwa, SAN Endorses Chukwuka Ikwuazom for NBA President
Chukwuka Ikwuazom is a lawyer with a combination of passion, competence, and the right values to lead the NBA. His time as Chairman of NBA Lagos Branch heralded several innovations in the Branch and, indeed, the entire NBA. He instilled trust and confidence in Branch members through his exceptional leadership which prioritized welfare of lawyers, capacity building and transparency. I was particularly impressed with the unprecedented transparency and accountability with which Chukwuka managed the finances of the Branch.
The fact that the policies and initiatives that were implemented by his administration have been the standard of leadership at the Branch and adopted by subsequent administrations is a testament to his leadership skills and his ability to not only implement, but also institutionalize good governance practices.
I have also observed Chukwuka Ikwuazom after his extremely successful tenure as Chairman of NBA Lagos Branch and all I see is his consistency in giving practical expression to his passion for a better legal profession in every role he has occupied since then. Chukwuka is a visionary leader who effortlessly combines administrative and managerial skills with the right values.
Given his track record of exceptional leadership, I am convinced that he is the right candidate to lead the Bar. I, therefore, wholeheartedly endorse him and appeal to every lawyer to vote for him
