After a three-year legal battle, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Federal High Court dismissed the election fraud case against Sarah Omega Ajijola because of lack of jurisdiction. This decision fully vindicates Sarah Omega Ajijola and clears her name of any wrongdoing related to alleged election fraud.

The case was initially brought against Sarah in 2020, alleging her involvement in election fraud during the NBA 2018 general elections. However, the court has now ruled that it did not have the proper jurisdiction to hear the case and, therefore, had no choice but to dismiss all charges.

This year serves as a reminder because this occurred in the same region that produced the NBA President six years ago, throwing back a terrible nightmare after much hard work and dedication to work. However, Sarah said how sad it was that “the reward for hard work was a case filed against me in court.”

“I am greatly relieved that this ordeal has finally ended,” said Sarah. “From the beginning, I maintained my innocence against these baseless allegations against me, and I am grateful that the court has recognized the lack of merit in this case.”

The dismissal of the case marks the end of a drawn-out legal battle that has caused significant stress and disruption in Sarah’s life over the past three years. With her name now cleared, Sarah looks forward to moving on and focusing on the critical work ahead.

“This victory is not just about me, but about the principles of justice and due process,” Sarah added. “I hope this outcome serves as a reminder that our legal system works to protect the innocent and that false accusations will not be tolerated.”
