The Janada International Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (JICAM) has unveiled Volume 4 of its Newsletter for 2024.
According to a statement made available to CITY LAWYER, “This edition of the newsletter focuses on the webinar of the Janada International Center for Arbitration and Mediation (JICAM) titled, ‘Courts And Anti-Arbitration Injunctions’ “.
The webinar, which was chaired by the former Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Ibrahim Ndahi Auta, (Rtd) OFR., brought legal minds together to discuss critical jurisdictional dynamics within the arbitration landscape.
The statement noted that the Keynote Speaker, Prof. Emilia Onyema, FCIArb, “delivered a thought-provoking address that shed light on the complexities of jurisdictional challenges in arbitration. The panel discussion featured eminent legal experts, including Isiah Bozimo, SAN, and Marx Ikongbeh, MCIArb (UK).
“This edition also features our Photo Speak section which provides a visual recap of the event, capturing the insightful and collaborative atmosphere that defined the day.
