Miss Chiazam Mbadugha, the daughter of senior lawyer and fiery litigator, Prof. McCarthy Mbadugha, SAN, has obtained a First Class Honours degree from the Kent Law School, University of Kent, United Kingdom.

The younger and cerebral Mbadugha was the cynosure of all eyes at the university’s recent graduation ceremony. She was also a recipient of the Herbert Smith Freehills’ prize for being one of the best in Company Law and Capitalism.

Before proceeding to University of Kent for her Bachelor of Laws degree, Chiazam attended Oxbridge Tutorial College (OTC) for her A-Levels, bagging a full merit-based scholarship for the entire duration of the A-levels programme.

Putting her brilliance beyond question, the Bar aspirant again posted ‘three As’ in her A-Level examination.

Her outstanding WAEC Result of eight A’s and a B in her SSCE at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School as well as her excellent performance at the OTC scholarship examinations and interviews earned her the scholarship award.

Speaking on Chiazam’s academic feat, Prof. Mbadugha, SAN said: “I am grateful to God for His faithfulness and grace to my family. To God be ALL the glory.”
