NBA PRESIDENCY: TONYE KRUKRUBO THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND CHUKWUKA IKWUAZOM
Tonye Krukrubo SAN, one of the partners at ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode, Endorses Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN as NBA President
For over twenty years, I have known Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN whom I and others in our Firm fondly call Chuka, professionally. Other than being my partner in our law firm, ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode, Chuka is also a friend.
Chuka is all about service to the legal profession. He has served and still serves at the branch and national levels of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). He is currently Chairman of the NBA-SARC, where he has not relented in speaking truth to power.
There is no better candidate to lead the NBA as President of the NBA at this critical time than Chuka. He therefore has my unquestioned endorsement.
His enviable record as Chair of the Lagos Branch (the Premier Bar) of the NBA speaks eloquently of his capacity to lead.
He straddles corporate and litigation practice and, therefore, is eminently placed to understand the peculiar yearnings of legal practitioners in Nigeria. I have worked with him closely as a colleague and have also continued to relate with him personally. As a friend and brother, I can attest to his focus and vision of the Bar. His agenda for a fearless and transformative bar is one that resonates with me and other members of the Nigerian Bar Association.
So I have a simple request to make, Learned Silks and esteemed colleagues; please vote him into office as President of the NBA on July 20, 2024. As for me, he certainly has my vote !!!
