ISAAC OGBAH FELICITATES WITH THE IBADAN BRANCH ON ITS AGM AND HANDING OVER CEREMONY, CONGRATULATES MRS. FOLASHADE BOSEDE ALADENIYI FOR RECORD BREAKING EMERGENCE AS THE FIRST FEMALE CHAIRMAN OF THE BRANCH

Mr. Isaac Omuta Ogbah, an aspirant for the post of 3rd Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) heartily congratulates the entire members and outgoing executives of Ibadan Branch of the NBA ably led by Mr. Olayinka Abiodun Esan, for the success of its Annual General Meeting held on 27th June, 2022 at the Afe Babalola (SAN) Bar Center, Iyanganku, Ibadan, Oyo State.

He commended the outgoing executives for the laudable achievements recorded during their time.

The NBA Ibadan Branch is one of the oldest and foremost branches in the country. Its members at various times are leaving and have left their indelible marks on the sands of time in advancing legal practice across Nigeria and beyond.

He also extols the courage and persistency of Mrs. Folashade Bosede Aladeniyi who emerged as the 34th Chairman and first-ever lady to emerge as the helmsman – or better still if the English grammar will indulge one “helmswoman” – to pilot the affairs of the branch from 2022 to 2024.

She is an astute legal practitioner who has proven her mettle in the legal landscape with unblemished record. It goes beyond doubt that her tenure will lead Ibadan branch to enviable heights following in the footsteps of those who have occupied the office before her. With foreseeable cooperation of other executive members, and the entire members of the branch, one does not need a crystal ball to know that the next two years will be momentous in the history of the branch.
