CHILDREN’S DAY: ‘REVERSE NIGERIA’S MEDIOCRITY CULTURE,’ SAYS TAIDI

FEATURED

Dear Children,

You were born into a country many of us grew to know as Nigeria.

Nigeria held a lot of promise at conception, and was a country you would have been proud of. Sadly, over the years, the huge potentials have been dwarfed by so many harmful legacies including: epileptic power supply, poor infrastructure, low productivity, poverty and insecurity, all bequeathed to us by several years of deceptive and inept leadership.

As you grow, learn to reverse the mediocrity that has become our bane. Grow up with determination and the will to do the right thing so that generations after you will respect how you refused to continue on the deplorable path that was handed to you.

As always, I wish you a happy Children’s day.
