Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN recently congratulated foremost Nigerian Law School Lecturer, Dr. Oluwafemi Emmanuel Olowononi and his counterpart, Dr. Akin Olawale Oluwadayisi, an astute Lecturer in Faculty of Law, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, for the successful publication of their Text: Precedents Drafts and Forms for Lawyers.

Chief Gadzama, SAN lauded the authors for providing legal precedents and drafts befitting of the modern practice of law in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. In his words, ‘the Text is a masterpiece that could not have been published at a better time.’

Furthermore, Gadzama, SAN expressed his immersed delight at writing the Foreword of the Text. He remarked, “I feel privileged and honoured to have written the Foreword of the Text which I believe should be every lawyer’s companion and I recommend it to every legal library in firms, institutions and legal departments.”

While presenting a copy of the Text to Chief Gadzama, SAN, Dr. Emmanuel O. Olowononi thanked him for accepting to write the Foreword in the Text, describing the learned silk as a Father and Mentor every young lawyer aspires to be like.

The Text is a collection of legal drafts designed to assist lawyers in the art of drafting court processes, applications, written addresses, writing of briefs, filing of forms, and legal opinion writing. The Text presents virtually all forms of drafts a legal practitioner may come across while engaged in litigation, corporate and property practice and general solicitor’s work.
