The Eti-Osa Lawyers’ Forum has felicitated Muslim faithful especially lawyers on the occasion of the celebration of the Eid ul Adha.

In a statement personally signed by the Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Adewale Sanni alongside the Assistant Secretary, Mr. Gabriel Peter, the Forum also congratulated the newly elected Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch and other elected Executive Committee members on their election.

The statement reads: “The Eti-Osa Lawyers’ Forum felicitate Muslim Lawyers on the occasion of the celebration of the Eid ul Adha. We also pray that the Almighty Allah answer their individual prayers and grant them a joyous celebration.

“We also use this opportunity to congratulate the newly elected Executives of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, led by the Chairman-elect, Mr. Bisi Makanjuola, and jointly and severally, we wish them a great tenure ahead.

“We, on behalf of all members, acknowledge that the elections were keenly contested, and the candidates exhibited great intelligence and strength of character particularly during the build-up to the elections, and as witnessed at the Forum’s June 2023 monthly meeting where candidates had the opportunity of speaking to the topic of the day, as well as subsequent fora.

“We pledge the usual support of the Forum to the next Executives of the Lagos Branch to be formed by the elected officials and urge that the cordial relationship between the Forum and Lagos Branch of the NBA is maintained under the next administration.”
