‘I ENDORSE CORDELIA EKE FOR A MORE PROGRESSIVE BAR’ – OKEY OHAGBA

The chances of Mrs. Cordelia Eke, a leading chairmanship candidate in tomorrow’s high-stakes Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Port Harcourt Branch Elections, brightened further with her endorsement today by prominent Bar Leader and former NBA National Officer, Mr. Okey Ohagba.

In a statement obtained by CITY LAWYER, Ohagba, who was NBA First Assistant General Secretary between 2016 and 2018, described Eke as “a square peg in a square hole.”

He vowed that Eke, who is reputed as a ferocious criminal litigator, “is our best foot forward for a more progressive and all inclusive NBA Port Harcourt Branch.”

Leaving no-one in doubt as to his preferences, Ohagba wrote: “I hereby endorse her for the office of Chairman, NBA Port Harcourt Branch.”

The full text of his statement reads:

“Mrs. Cordelia Eke is a square peg in a square hole. She is our best foot forward for a more progressive and all inclusive NBA Port Harcourt Branch.

“Her proven capacity and competence is unequalled!

“I hereby endorse her for the office of Chairman, NBA Port Harcourt Branch.

“Take a CUE!”
