MORE LAWYERS BACK MAJEMITE AS NBA LAGOS SECRETARY
More senior lawyers have thrown their weight behind Mr. Emuobonuvie Majemite, a Partner at PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors, in his quest to clinch the post of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch Secretary in the forthcoming branch elections.
They include Messrs Tolulope Aderemi, a Partner at Perchstone and Graeys as well as Mr. Fola Alade, Principal Partner at FOTEFA Partners LP.
In his endorsement message, Aderemi wrote: “The Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), otherwise known as ‘the Premier Bar’, is primus inter pares. The office of the Scribe must therefore be occupied by a quintessential legal practitioner and administrator. I believe Emuobonuvie Majemite squarely fits this role and should be given the opportunity to serve as Secretary of the Premier Branch. I hereby endorse him.”
On his part, Alada wrote: “Majemite is a real gentleman, very knowledgeable and a core professional . He is also extremely intelligent and compassionate. Going through his manifesto, he is my preferred candidate for the position of Secretary as I believe he would bring an innovative service to the bar. Without hesitation , I give Majemite my highest recommendation.”
The Elections hold on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
