SURULERE LAWYERS’ FORUM ENDORSES ESTHER IFEOMA JIMOH AS NBA LAGOS VICE CHAIR

The Surulere Lawyers’ Forum (SLF) at its monthly general meeting held last Wednesday endorsed Esther Ifeoma Jimoh as its sole candidate for the office of Vice Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch. The NBA Lagos Branch Election is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

The Chairman of the Forum, Prince Eddy Njoku, while making this announcement, expressed his gratitude to Esther, who he said “has been a strong, active, and committed financial member of the Forum for many years, participating in all the activities of the Forum and rising to the occasion whenever the Forum requires her assistance in any area.”

He thanked her “for single-handedly hosting the March 2023 meeting of the Forum in celebration of your birthday which took place during that month and for all that you are doing for humanity,” adding that posterity will record her efforts in serving the Bar.

Esther is a member of NBA Lagos Branch Human Rights Committee among other committees. She is also a member of NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), NBA Women Forum, and International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) among other professional memberships within and outside the NBA.
