ELECTIONBUDDY, the Edmonton, Canada based electronic voting platform, has validated the results of the recently concluded Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Elections, saying the results were not tampered with.

In a letter addressed “To the members of the Nigerian Bar Association” and signed by its President, Mr. Dave Bodnarchuk, the company which was contracted by the Electoral Committee of the NBA (ECNBA) alongside INITS Limited as the ICT Service Provider, stated that “At the completion of the election, ElectionBuddy staff perform limited procedures which includes (sic) review of the voter list, voting process, examination of the results, and inquiries of management. We believe that the review and results of our procedures provide a reasonable basis to confirm our report.

“Based on our reviews, we are not aware of any modifications to the election that would materially impact the electoral outcomes.”

An earlier enquiry to ElectionBuddy by CITY LAWYER did not elicit any response.
